Active Ingredients:

Hyaluronic Acid

The permeability of hyaluronic acid is primarily related to its molecular weight. High molecular
weight hyaluronic acid has very limited permeability through the skin and remains mainly on the
skin surface, forming a thin hydrating protective layer. In contrast, low molecular weight
hyaluronic acid can penetrate the stratum corneum, epidermis, and deeper skin layers. The
hyaluronic acid in the Pearlic serum, with its combination of molecular weights, not only works
on the skin surface but also penetrates into the skin, providing deep hydration and engaging
surface cell receptors.

Seaweed

This serum is enriched with a blend of extracts from four types of seaweed, including spirulina.
Seaweed extracts contain a high percentage of polysaccharides, proteins, amino acids, and
minerals. The most important of these substances are phlorotannins and alginic acids, which
have been extensively studied and proven effective. The multiple benefits of seaweed include:

  •  Controlling skin discoloration and pigmentation caused by abnormal melanin accumulation.
  •  Slowing down aging by reducing collagen breakdown, leading to younger-looking and better-textured skin.
  •   Reducing the breakdown of natural hyaluronic acid in the skin. Providing protective effects against light exposure.
The polysaccharides in seaweed have high water retention capabilities, significantly enhancing the hydrating and
  • moisturizing effects.
  •  The antibacterial properties of seaweed also help reduce acne.

Ceramide

The function of the skin barrier in individuals with skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, contact dermatitis, and certain genetic disorders is impaired or weakened. The intercellular lipids in the stratum corneum play a crucial role in regulating the skin’s water content in these patients. Ceramide is one of the most important lipids present in the stratum corneum, providing protective functions and regulating water homeostasis. In these patients, the lipid composition is characterized by a decrease in ceramide levels and changes in the ceramide profile. Adding ceramide to skincare formulations accelerates the improvement of the stratum corneum and can expedite the process of repairing the skin’s protective barrier.
